These terms govern your use of the Tammen app and website. Please read them carefully — by using the service, you agree to them.

These terms are also available in Arabic. If the two versions differ, the Arabic version prevails.

1Accepting these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of the Tammen app (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

2The service

Tammen is a tool for organizing and tracking medication schedules. It lets you:

  • Receive dose reminders and record the status of each dose.
  • Share tracking with a care team you choose.
  • Track medication stock and get alerted before it runs out.
  • Save doctor appointments and notes.
  • Log readings such as weight, blood pressure and blood sugar, and view them as charts.

3Tammen is not a medical service

  • Tammen does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. It does not choose medications or doses, does not check for drug interactions, and does not assess health readings.
  • Tammen is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call an ambulance immediately (123 in Egypt).

You enter medications, doses and times as prescribed by your doctor, and you remain responsible for their accuracy. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist about any decision related to your health.

Reminders depend on your device, its internet connection, notification settings and battery, and may be delayed or not arrive. Don’t rely on Tammen alone for taking essential medication.

4Your account and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details confidential, and tell us right away about any unauthorised use of your account. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

5Adding people and care teams

When you add someone whose medication you follow, you confirm that you have their consent or that you are legally responsible for their care.

When you invite members to a care team, you allow them to see that person’s tracking data. Only invite people you trust, and remove anyone who is no longer involved in their care.

6Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Add someone’s data without their consent or legal authority.
  • Try to access other people’s accounts or data.
  • Disrupt, hack or reverse-engineer the service.
  • Impersonate anyone else.

7Plans and pricing

The Basic plan is free. We’re working on a Premium plan with extra features, and we’ll announce its details and price before it becomes available.

We will never charge you without your explicit prior consent, and we won’t move features of the current Basic plan into a paid plan.

8Intellectual property

The app and website — including the name, logo, design, content and software — are owned by or licensed to us. We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable licence to use the service under these terms. The data you enter remains yours.

9Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make reasonable efforts to keep it working correctly and continuously, but we can’t guarantee it will be free of errors or interruptions.

To the extent permitted by Egyptian law, we are not liable for damage resulting from:

  • A reminder that was delayed or did not arrive.
  • Inaccurate data entered by a user.
  • Health decisions made by relying on the service instead of consulting a professional.

Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot legally be limited.

10Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that harms others, and we’ll let you know whenever possible.

11Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll change the “Last updated” date and notify you in the app about significant changes before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Egyptian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
